Jaelyn Lentz

Jaelyn was born and raised in rural Iowa and got her start working in politics as a field intern for an Iowa statewide campaign in 2018. After realizing doorknocking was not her strong suit, Jaelyn switched to fundraising, where she was able to combine her childhood love of storytelling with her passion for progressive politics.
She has worked on campaigns of all sizes, from city council to congressional. Before joining the team at BattleAxe, she was part of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Battleground finance team, where she helped frontline candidates raise more than $25 million during the 2024 cycle.
Outside of her professional work supporting Democratic fundraising efforts, Jaelyn enjoys spending time with her cats, attending concerts and music festivals, and completing a range of “grandma” fiberwork crafts.
