Katie, a proud Michigander, started her career as a Transition Coach providing post-hospital home visits throughout Metro Detroit. After relocating to the DC area, she worked at Trader Joe's while holding several internships, including one that led to a position documenting Peace Corps' Office of Global Health and HIV's contribution to PEPFAR.
She then spent 7 years at Stones' Phones, managing clients and phone programming with a focus on reproductive justice and healthcare advocacy.
Katie lives in Alexandria, VA with her cat, Ava - a true Aquarius. Outside of work Katie enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time on the Great Lakes.
